In prior years, when we had clients coming into our office, we used to send them a note a few days before their meeting, letting them know where to park and other pertinent information to make our meeting as efficient as possible. Today, I feel as though we need to send our pre – zoom instructions. Do you do this?
We could ask clients or participants to:
- Please no eating during our call. (The sound of chewing in microphones is not easy on the ear)
- Please be aware of their camera space (Keep the surrounds professional)
- Business casual attire is appropriate ( I have been met with bath robes and swimsuits)
In this way, we treat our time together with the same courtesy and respect as we would if we were meeting in person. Agreed?
