As we do our 2020 year end review and look towards 2021, we are internally discussing the need for both inbound and outbound sales. I personally love marketing and inbound sales but I also see the case for targeted outbound sales. Which is your strategy of choice? Or do you employ both for maximum growth?
Outbound sales takes a skill set and specific plan that many of us do not have in place so we need to hire for. I love the idea but get stuck in the practicalities of making this work. I have read books and blogs and listened to podcasts. I believe outbound sales is a strong strategy. Does anyone have any success stories to share ? Horror stories to share?
